Mazee – Biography
Mazee. is a hip hop recording artist from North Jersey. Working with Peake Level Entertainment, owned by his father, he jumped onto the mainstream hip hop scene with the release of his debut single “I Be Flexin”, and made his on air debut on March 21 on the Orlando station WPRK 91.5-FM. Fueled by heavy competition coming out of the New Jersey area in 2015, Mazee returned with a more confrontational approach to making his break, giving the world a taste of his rage with his latest single “invasion”.
Mazee’s most important contact in the hip hop industry just happened to be his father. Marcus Peake Sr. was one of the original founders of Black Fist Records, the company who brought us the amazing talents of rapper King Just, the first artist ever to grace the stage at the very first Summer Jam in 94′. Under Marcus Peake Sr. and Black Fist, King Just also broke the Billboard Top 40 with his album ‘Mystics of The God’.
In 2015 Marcus Peake and his newly founded Peake Level Entertainment agreed to a new distribution deal from Forbes Music Entertainment and the young punchline contender Mazee took the industry by surprise. Blogs and magazines everywhere have read “Invasion brings the most direct threat to the industry since 50 Cent’s How To Rob”. The production from music producer Chophouze was perfect for 2015 radio, and resulted in the record being picked up by over 25 radio stations.
Mazee remains a Peake Level Entertainment artist working closely with his father on future releases. The young artist is in the midst of recording his first studio album and preparing for his first nation wide tour. He is still chasing his first plaque and major award as a solo artist but many enthusiasts are saying that Mazee is not far from his ultimate success. He has a lot more music to come and is already started the process of releasing his 3rd single. — still yet to be named.
