It looks Nas is always reaping the benefits of investing in Mass Appeal.
The Brooklyn-based magazine has announced that it has raised $1.2 million in funding, one month after Nas reportedly invested six figures into the struggling publication. There are also traditional sponsors and firms assisting with the relaunch of the brand.
Nas is also serving as associate publisher.
Record label/creative agency DECON, rapper Pusha T, and international firm White Owl Capital have all come on board as investors, according to Tech Crunch.
